Responsibilities

Internet Advertising Management

  • Assist in the Management of executing client Digital Advertising Campaigns

  • Build, launch, and manage paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and programmatic/display.

  • Execute day-to-day campaign optimizations focused on pacing, performance, CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and lead quality. 

  • Monitor campaign delivery and budgets to ensure campaigns remain on track and within spend targets. 

  • Perform keyword research, audience targeting, bid adjustments, and A/B testing to improve campaign performance. 

  • Upload and QA ad creative, tracking URLs, conversion events, and campaign settings prior to launch. 

  • Develop and maintain campaign naming conventions, documentation, and organization across platforms.

  • Track and analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, platform dashboards, and other reporting tools. 

  • Generate recurring client-facing and internal performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations. 

  • Identify optimization opportunities based on performance data, audience behavior, and platform trends. 

  • Monitor conversion tracking, pixels, tags, and attribution to ensure accurate reporting.

 

Platform and Technical Execution of Campaigns

  • Implement and troubleshoot tracking pixels, UTM parameters, conversion events, and tag management systems. 

  • Assist with landing page testing and CRO initiatives to improve lead generation performance. 

  • Maintain campaign accuracy through detailed QA of targeting, placements, creative assets, and tracking.

  • Stay current on digital advertising platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends.

 

Internal Communications

  • Collaborate daily with account managers, creative teams, and digital strategists to align campaign execution with client objectives. 

  • Proactively communicate campaign status updates, performance shifts, and optimization needs to internal stakeholders. 

  • Flag performance issues, tracking concerns, or budget pacing risks early and clearly. 

  • Participate in internal campaign planning and performance review meetings, providing data-driven input. 

  • Collaborate with the internal team on client website recommendations for full campaign optimization

  • Collaborate with the internal team to discuss SEO when necessary

 

External Communications

  • Support client-facing communications by preparing clear, concise performance updates and campaign summaries. 

  • Assist in presenting campaign results and optimization strategies during client calls (with account lead support). 

  • Translate complex digital marketing metrics into actionable insights for clients. 

  • Respond to client questions related to campaign performance, delivery, and optimization (as appropriate for role level). 

  • Ensure reporting narratives are accurate, easy to understand, and aligned with client goals.

 

Essential Software Skills

  • Google AdWords, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Excel, Meta Ads Manager, Twitter, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Pinterest, HULU, Disney+, Paramount+, TikTok, Snapchat, Looker Studio, Programmatic/DSP platforms, Microsoft Ads, SEMrush or similar keyword tools, etc.

 

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in setting up and optimizing digital ad campaigns is required

Serious Candidates Should Possess

  • Willingness to become Google Certified

  • Strong organization skills

  • Knowledge and experience in setting up digital ad campaigns 

  • Project management skills, including organizing and managing multiple projects

  • Ability to multitask and take direction in a team environment

  • Attend off-site and internal client meetings

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Travel out of town when necessary

  • Detail and deadline oriented 

  • Must be flexible and adapt/react to change 

  • Ability to prioritize

 

The ideal candidate possesses the following skills:  

  • Comfortable working directly within ad platforms on a daily basis (“hands-on keyboard” campaign execution). 

  • Able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment. 

  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, analytical mindset. 

  • Experience independently troubleshooting campaign and tracking issues.

  • Experience in collaborating with account managers, designers, and content teams to ensure campaigns align with client goals and creative strategy. 

  • Ability to communicate campaign updates, performance insights, and optimization recommendations to internal teams. 

  • Participate in campaign planning, media strategy discussions, and performance reviews.

  • Current on digital advertising platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends.
