Beyond Spots & Dots to Sponsor Employee at the 23rd Annual Pirates Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy

Pittsburgh advertising agency Beyond Spots & Dots will be participating in the 23rd Annual Run/Walk for Epilepsy Saturday, June 25, 2011 at PNC Park.

Beyond Spots & Dots is inviting the community to support the company's Graphic Designer, Maggie Keller, at the Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy in Pittsburgh on Saturday, June 25th. The event will be held at PNC Park and all funds raised will be used to support the Epilepsy Foundation programs and services.

As a part of the company's fundraising efforts, for every new person that follows Beyond Spots & Dots on Facebook during the month of June (June 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011) Beyond Spots & Dots will donate one dollar ($1.00) to the Epilepsy Foundation. During the event, Professional baseball players, team mascots, and local radio and television personalities will lead the day's festivities. The event begins with a 5k-run / 2-mile walk course that winds through the city of Pittsburgh. Participants may then enjoy food and beverages from local sponsors. Prizes are awarded to the teams and individuals that raise the most money. All participants are eligible for a free ticket to a baseball game, a commemorative t-shirt, and other items.

About the Epilepsy Foundation

The Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central Pennsylvania (EFWCP) is a private, non-profit service organization providing public education and supportive services to individuals and families affected by epilepsy/seizure disorders. The primary goal is to support a life without compromise for all persons who have epilepsy or a seizure disorder.

About the 23nd Annual Pirates Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy

Last summer more than 2,500 people throughout Pennsylvania joined the Pittsburgh Pirates and Harrisburg Senators in the Family Fun Run/Walks to benefit Epilepsy. The run/walks have become a cornerstone of the EFWCP's special events. Epilepsy Foundation Board member, Joyce Bender, says "It is so inspiring to see large companies, families and individuals come out to support such a wonderful cause."
